This Italian desk, of compact dimensions, combines presence and manufacturing quality. Designed by Edmondo Palutari, it was produced by the firm of the designer of Vittorio Dassi. Its demanding modernist design is signed: a special treatment of drawer handles, integrated into the thickness of the facades and the use of wood of different essences to animate everything. Italian production of the 60s, it is a piece of furniture with demanding design and the functionality studied.
The office is of Italian manufacturing. The 4 drawers each offer a very large storage capacity. It is very nice. Traces of use are visible, mainly on the plateau and the edges. The key to the upper drawer is missing.
130cm wide, 55-58.5cm depth, 74cm high. 65cm high and 48cm wide for the passage of the chair. 6cm drawing drawers.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
