The 22 karat gold against the black mat color of the vase add the elegance of the Hollywood Regency Art Deco style.

The flying bird on the vase was probably inspired by the "Dove of peace" of Picasso, In 1949 Pablo Picasso created "Dove of Peace," also known as "La Colombe". This simple yet profound artwork was designed for the World Peace Congress in Paris and has since become an iconic symbol of hope and unity. The drawing features a white dove with an olive branch in its beak, symbolizing peace and harmony. The choice of the olive branch is significant, as it has been a traditional symbol of peace since ancient times.
Picasso's peace dove has transcended its original context and has become a universal symbol of peace. The image is often reproduced and used in various contexts to advocate for peace and nonviolence. The artist's ability to distill such a complex and profound concept into a simple yet powerful image is a testament to his artistic genius and the enduring impact of his work.
