Likely manufactured by Sheffield, and standing on curved legs, the platter with integral warming jacket, is dressed with wooden side handles; the serving dish is further embellished with shaped motifs. Oval in shape, the traditional meat cover has a fluted body and is topped with a naturalistic cast of a stippled foliate handle; it is decorated with Classic stippled acanthus and shell motifs and embellished with embossed family coat of arms crest on the facade. The large conforming two-piece serving piece, is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich silver plated finish. Use is as a centerpiece on a dining table for your next dinner party.
