Dramatically eye-catching earthenware artichoke that was fashioned to hold a tealight but will play well as a sculptural objet d’art on any tabletop, hearth mantel or vanity top. Each leaf was hand applied and layered creating a beautiful sculptural look-and-feel. Handcrafted from earthenware in varying rich shades of orange (ginger, dark pumpkin, russet with dark brown undertone specks) with a highly glazed finish. I placed silicone tabs on the bottom to protect surfaces which can be removed, if you desire. This beauty measures 7” x 7” x 7” H/W/D; weight 3 lbs. 8 oz.; unknown maker. In excellent condition with minimal age-appropriate wear. One indiscernible chip that is truly difficult to see since it is on the interior of one of the leaves (see photo 6). Vividly spectacular piece for a collector of eclectic artichoke décor or the perfect gift for someone who is!
