An exquistie set of Dresden Covered Soup Bowls with LIds was handpainted in the late 1800s by German artisan Karl Klemm. The specific pattern is as follows KLE10 by RICHARD KLEMM and they feature multicolored floral sprays with gold feathery swags.
Karl Richard Klemm was a German artist who was born in 1852. His porcelain decorating studio was established in Streisen by Dresden in 1869. The workshop decorated often blank Meissen porcelain but also used other blanks. Richard Klemm painted these items in the style of Meissen, Dresden and Vienna.
Each bowl with lid is 5.5" wide including handles and 4" high.
Each saucer is 6.5" wide.
