Having a large realistic looking blown glass snake applied on the top part of the centerpiece with brilliant crystal overlay windows (everything clean crisp and clear) . Very ingenious design where the large impressive heavy top part of the centerpiece gets placed and sits perfectly on its correct overlay glass base. Large imposing size of almost 18 inches tall with a rich sleek copper color adorned with gilt gold decoration. Note Baccarat in the 19th century when this centerpiece dates from was the premiere French crystal company for the very elite patrons and especially the snake application was their signature design as it is on this magnificent antique original.
