Artist: Iribe, Paul
Paul Iribe's lithographic prints for the wine importer Nicolas, done at the height of the Art Deco period, are some of the finest, purest and most perfect Art Deco prints ever produced. Using only black and white, he managed to be fashionable, ironic, and cheeky - showing women at their most indulgent, men at their least secure, and Nectar (a mascot with bug eyes who always seems to be in the right place at the right time) at his goofiest. I think these prints - which I first saw many years ago - are one of the reasons I became a poster dealer. I love them! Issued in a small run of 500 in the early 1930s, they are becoming increasingly rare and hard to find.
About the Artist: Born in Angouleme, France in 1883, Iribe received his education in Paris's École des Beaux-Arts and the College Rollin where his friends included the then-unknown illustrators George Barbier, Georges Lepape, George Martin, and Pierre Brissaud. He was a French illustrator and designer in the decorative arts yet his style favored the liberal display of fluid forms which is more in line with Art Nouveau design elements than pure Art Deco. He worked in Hollywood during the Twenties and was Coco Chanel's lover (and once design collaborator) from 1931 to his death.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
