I have seen them on occasion but that has been many years ago as I was born in 1945. The style is early Hollywood Regency, made in the 1940s. It can be identified as Hollywood Regency by the swirls and feathery designs prominent in the original hand made mold used to create the earliest prototypes often used to hold sheet music. You've seen the the original stand in films often showcasing Mozart or other prominent composers throughout history. I found this piece in New York in the West Village in an antique store on one of my trips there in the 90s. See less
