The authentic vintage French color lithograph print is printed in the early 20th Century by the famous French Parisian lithographer printer Edward Ancourt ( B.1841 ). The print bares the printers marks " IMP EDW. ANCOURT PARIS " in the lower right corner. The print features a world famous artwork by the artist Henri De Toulouse Lautrec titled " Divan Japonais " created in 1893.

Henri De Toulouse Lautrec ( 1864 - 1901 ) the French painter, printmaker, and illustrator who's immersion in the colorful and theatrical life of Paris in the 19th Century, allowed him to produce a collection of enticing, elegant and provocative images of the Modern sometimes decadent affairs of those times.

Lautrec was commisioned to create the original poster artwork by the owner of " Diavn Japonais ", a Cafe Chantant in the Paris Montmartre neighborhood. Designed in the popular Japonisme style. The print features 3 prominent figures of Montmartre nightlife : Cancan dancer Jane avril in foreground, arts literary writer Edouard Dujardin beside her, and performer Yvette Guilbert identified by her signature black gloves on stage.

The rare vintage framed color lithograph print measures 19" W X 25" H X 1" D. It is framed with plexiglass in a black finish wood frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation. it is in excellent vintage Condition consistent with age, use, and light signs of handling.
