Fantastic English oak and beech smokers bow armchair, made in 1917 by another important furniture maker in High Wycombe, England - J. Elliott & Sons, of whom three chair examples are in the collection of The Museum of the Home in London.
Very unique design to the turned legs and back supports, not the usual seen. Solid and stable construction, joinery intact.
Stamped makers mark to rear of the chair, fine aged patina, the chair would look wonderful with a high wax finish applied.
Beautiful example.
