These bowls are a … Read more Highly collectible 19th Century Ironstone rimmed bowls from Minton(s) are in amazing shape for their age. These bowls are a creamy white with a relief design of garland swags scallop shells rimmed with serated gold. Minton is some of the most famous and revered China in history. The bowls are impressed with the mark Mintons with the S -- which began in 1873. They are not marked England which was a must after 1891 so the bowls date from between that period. There are symbol marks as well as what appears to be a designer's signature mark as well.

6 of the bowl are in excellent shape with just some light crazing (no stains) as to be expected. 1 bowl has a slight divot on the bottom of the rim which is not noticeable when placed on a table and could be repaired (see picture). One bowl has some light brown stain marks (see picture). See less
