The chair features … Read more This timeless splat-back chair is solid maple and is well constructed. It is solid, sound, and sturdy. The chair features a white lacquer finish with a subtle dragon motif on the splat. The seat has been newly re-upholstered with a fine linen-cotton Robert Allen toile featuring chinoiserie pagodas, bridges, and landscapes. The fabric is in dark blue with touches of gray, white, and yellow. From an estate in southern Virginia, it is in excellent restored condition. The chair measures 35 inches high at the crest, and the seat is 18 inches high. The chair is 24 inches wide and 21 inches deep.
