It was imported to Paris France in the late 19th century. It has a large sculpted cupola adorning the top of the cage with 2 adjoining side domes to complete the unique architectural design. I love the wooden steps leading up to the door which opens outward for easy access. On the side is a flexible panel that opens up for easy access for cleaning the bottom of the cage. I found it in London while vacationing in 1991. It was in the most beautiful antique shop close to Harrods Department Store. See less
