Created in collaboration with Drusus Tabor, Venetian Zig Zag Block Print fabric derives its fanciful bent stripe from the stylized asymmetrical patterns of the “bizarre silks” that were popular in 17th and 18-century Europe. Painstakingly printed by hand on a soft linen ground, this imaginative medium-scale design, with its subtle variations and wonderful nuances, lends a unique artisanal element to pillows, light upholstery or window treatments.
