A pair of French provincial, Louis XIV-style fauteuils à la reine in walnut with carved acanthus scrolled curvaceous sweeping arms sitting on scrolling legs and serpentine "H" stretcher, with beautiful carvings in the frame and patinated brass nailhead details. The carved and turned details on the front arms are echoed in the legs.
The armchairs fauteuils in the style of Louis XIII with needle Aubusson style work upholstery.
Pair of well carved Baroque needlework Aubusson style armchairs.
Colorful but faded later needlework fabric style probably early 20th century in period form.
Stunning pair of Baroque Spanish Revival Renaissance style large-scale old-world fauteuil armchairs with a large seat and tall square back with brass decorative nail heads re upholstered in Aubusson style fabric that shows wear.
France or Belgium, circa 1930.
Measurements: 24.5" wide x 30." deep x 47" high (18" seat height). Inside seat 20" x 21". arm height in the middle 26.25"H.
Good condition, some discoloration on fabric and wood, keeping in mind that these are old and not new so will have signs of use and wear.
