Arne Vodder for Vamo Møbelfabrik, armchairs, model 'Ella', teak, leather, Denmark, 1960s.
Pair of 'Ella' armchairs designed by Arne Vodder produced in the 60s. These elegant armchairs are newly upholstered in good quality cognac leather. The sculptural solid teak frame is what makes these Danish chairs from Vodder so unique. The armrests have an open triangle. The backrest is slightly tilted and has a rotating mechanism in the backrest and therefore provide wonderful comfort.
Excellent condition - totally restored by our professional Danish cabinetmaker and professionally reupholstered. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
