In the genre of scientific curiosities comes this one-of-a-kind two piece leg brace that would have belonged to a child or young woman. Constructed of plaster with occasional holes for letting air in and/or being able to scratch an itch. The edges are bound in leather with metal rivets used to lace them on. Mount them on metal or wood stands, hang them as part of a gallery wall, or frame in plexi-glass box frames. Because of their sculptural quality, one could mistake them for a piece of modern art!
