This Vintage Pair of Henredon Tansu Campaign Chests are elegantly crafted of walnut wood that sits atop a solitary black painted wood base in the form of Japanese Tansu. Due to their modular design, these chests are components of a three-piece ensemble that can be disassembled to use independently as a single focal unit on the base. They are adorned with gold-hued embellishments of brass accents that evoke Far East design chinoiserie design. These embellishments include elaborate brass hinges affixed along the edges of both sides and draw handles on each spacious drawer.
