This clock dates to the early 1800s and features a gorgeous gilt bronze design

The clock is rare because it has automata/automaton features with a moving water fountain.

The fountain has its own movement and has a glass rod that spins, giving the illusion of water being spouted

The clock has a gothic design with a cathedral shaped center

The cathedral has gilt bronze knights in armor, brickwork, and spires

The front has has a statue of a young man playing with a monkey. There is a chain that extends between the two.

The basin of the fountain is in the shape of a clam shell. The inner part of the clam shell appears to be sterling silver

The clock movement is an early silk thread movement. It has a design allowing the pendulum to swing outside the case. This design was probably created so that the pendulum doesn’t hit the lower automaton movement

The clock measures 8.4 x 4.75 x 14.75 inches

The movements were last serviced in 2018. The lower automaton movement did run when tested
The clock movement might need servicing. The spring is good. But it did not stay running.
