Part of the top right finial is missing a portion . Please see pics -Old rush seat, looks to be original, not positive, definitely old w/ slight damage, but useable. I did not check “needs restoration” because as long as it is useable and only minor seat issues I want it to remain the same as when I purchased it, which is precisely why nobody was allowed to ever sit in it. Paint has a lovely distressed look, with scuffs consistent with age. Grace thought the paint was original, but I have no way of knowing. I have never altered the chair at all. less
