Pair of mid-century Danish bear lounge chairs and matching ottomans designed by Bent Møller Jepsen and manufactured by Simo in … Read more Pair of mid-century Danish bear lounge chairs and matching ottomans designed by Bent Møller Jepsen and manufactured by Simo in Denmark. The original owner bought this pair of Danish lounge chairs and footstools in the late 1950s in Denmark. At some point, they were reupholstered in an age-appropriate orange wool fabric. These high-back lounge chairs have button tufting on the backs, and reversible seat cushions. They have exposed teak at the ends of the arms and custom matching fabric arm covers that protect the fabric underneath, but don't cover the teak. The ottomans are curved inwards on the side near the chairs and outwards on the other side, which adds interest. Both the chairs and ottomans have round, tapered legs, they are darker on the ottomans than on the chairs. They all look great from every angle. The lounge chairs are covered in orange wool. The ottomans are covered in brownish-orange vinyl. One chair has the Simo, Denmark badge on the inside of the frame.

The chairs are 34" wide, 37" deep, 40.5" high, and 15.5" seat height.
The footstools are 24" wide, 15.5" deep, and 13.25" high. See less
