  • "Aimee: Again, I am so sorry this has not met your expectations and I do hope we can remedy this - I want my customers happy above all. It is a very pretty piece. I will await to hear from Chairish if you want to have the price reduced. They manage that on the back end. Thanks for reaching out."

  • "J. Buchanan Antiques: Thanks. I would appreciate the price reduction. Measuring from top of the crest to the bottom of the wood, the mirror is 51 inches. It's very pretty. I just may not be able to use it in the spot I intended. Thanks again."

  • "Aimee: In retrospect, I think the size issue was on account of a typo."

    June 10, 2016, 6:15 p.m.

  • "Aimee: Hi, I am sorry to hear about this. The spot is a result of age. I believe the mirror was measured from the top of the crest to the base. Since the mirror traveled quite far to get there, I really don't know what to suggest. You will need to speak with a Chairish representative, but I would be willing to reduce the price to account for your situation. Let me know if this is acceptable. Again, I am sorry if you are unhappy with the purchase."

  • "Hi. Hi. I received this mirror yesterday. The mirror is lovely but it is different than advertised. It's 51 inches in height, as opposed to the 62 inches advertised, and there is damage, a large black spot on the bottom right of the mirror. Are you able to offer any remedy?"

    June 10, 2016, 6:02 p.m.

  • "Aimee: Hi, I used to be located in NC, but now live in Connecticut. I would otherwise have been glad to deliver it for you. Thank you for your purchase. The mirror is lovely."

  • "Hi. I purchased this mirror today and realized that you're fairly close to us. Would it be possible to arrange pick up as opposed to having it delivered? Thanks."

  • "Hi Divya. Could you please give me an approximate shipping cost to Chapel Hill, NC? Thanks!"

    May 15, 2016, 8:06 a.m.

  • "Aimee: Hi, I believe the mirror to be from the mid-1900's. There isn't a label, so I cannot be sure of a maker. I hope this helps."

    May 14, 2016, 2:53 a.m.

  • "Hi. Do you know approximately when the mirror was made and and the maker? Thanks."

    May 13, 2016, 9:18 p.m.

  • "Divya S.: Hello. the color is a dark burnished gold. Thank you for your interest."
