The figural scene is cut and mounted between glass and a mirror backing, showing a boy training a standing bear. The boy wears a red robe and cap with a gold neckpiece. The bear is on a lead and holds a walking stick.

The mirror is presented in a substantial French rococo-style scroll carved giltwood frame.

A very impactful, heavy and extremely unusual one of a kind piece.
