I have this in my own home right now and everyone who comes in just falls in love with it. When I purchased this the top tier of glass had been broken because someone had tightened down one of the horse heads too tightly. I had a new glass made for it. The glass is very thick. The original glass which is what is still on the bottom tier is a little bit different but you really have to look close to see that. The difference is the original glass is low iron glass. To have that shelf made out of the low iron glass was very expensive. Even the regular glass cost a lot due to the thickness, holes being drilled in it and the edge finish to match the other one.
