Most Likely English … Read more This Really is a Very Nice Looking and Good Quality Vintage Double Sided Desk Top Letter Rack. Most Likely English in Origin. Circa Mid 20th Century. It Hand Made out of a Very Nicely Grained Hardwood that I Believe to be Teak. It has Nicely Detailed Hollow Repousse - High Relief Brass Nautical Motif Side Panels that Depict 2 Different Early Spanish Galleon Ships in Sail at Sea. Note Also the Dolphins at the Lower Mounting Area. The Wood Center Davide Carry Handle is Cast in Solid Brass. It has No Maker or Other Markings. It is in Very Good Overall Condition - Still Retains its Original Varnish Finish - Displays Beautifully.
It Measures Overall Approx. 7 3/4 inches Tall - 8 1/4 inches Long x 5 1/2 inches Wide at Base.
