The decorative Art Nouveau era tin is an amazing antique find! Inside the vintage cookie tin is a scrap of wrapping paper advertising Alsacienne biscuits.

Well over 100-years old, the antique biscuit tin shows wear consistent with its age and use including loss to the lithograph design, tarnishing and oxidation to the metal, and a small dent on the bottom edge.

Gaspar Camps (1874-1942) was a Spanish Art Nouveau artist known as the Catalan Mucha. He settled in Paris in 1905 and worked for the B. Siren printing house where he produced posters, calendars, postcards, and advertisements.
