Fascinated by its colors, shapes, artists redouble their ingenuity to give new aesthetic to their ceramics. This plate was realized by the Manufacture of Creil & Montereau. This factory produced mainly porcelain and knew a great success in the last decades of the 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
