American … Read more This Really is a Great Looking and Very Unusual Antique Figurative Chalkware Sitting Cat Coin Bank - "Penny Bank". American in Origin - Circa Very Early 1900s. Large Size Measuring 10 1/4 inches Tall. These Types of Chalkware Items were Typically Circus - Carnival - Country Fair Etc. Souvenirs. It is Hollow with the Coin Deposit Slot on the Top of the Cats Head. It has Lifelike Molded and Hand Painted Decorated Features that have Developed a Wonderful Authentic Aged Patina Over the Years. It is in Very Good All Original Condition - Appears to have Seen Very Little Use Over the Years - Displays Nicely. It Has a Few Very Small Paints Chips Here and There - No Cracks - No Breaks - No Repairs.
It Measures Overall Approx. 10 1/4 inches Tall x 8 1/2 inches Long x 5 inches Wide.
