The literal translation of the caption "Alle Kan Traenge Til en Hof" is "Everybody can need a beer" - and this series of ads shows a variety of humorous situations and locations where people can enjoy a great bottle of Carlsberg. Here, it appears that a gentleman is thinking about what he would like to drink after he finishes using the outdoor restroom (we'll give you a hint: there is an outdoor café with a Carlsberg umbrella in the far right of this poster ...) We love this advertisement, and even if it's an 1980s poster, we definitely get a 1930s Art Deco feel from its clean, sleek advertising. We feel it would look great framed in a man cave, living room or bar ... anywhere a little humour is needed! less
