This lovely trinket dish is made of porcelain. This dish is stamped as being made by Wood & Sons in England, see pictures, and the stamp dates this piece to the 1940s. This wonderful small dish features an image of the painting "Blue Boy" by Thomas Gainsborough, which shows a depiction of a young boy standing in an outdoor landscape wearing an all-blue outfit and holding a blue feathered cap.
The measurements: height=1/2" diameter=4 1/4" approx.
