Made to hold up to three rackets. The press is made of mahogany, in original condition, and with a good patina. The tennis rackets fit in between the wooden dividers and are tightened with the cast iron crank handle which holds the rackets in place to stop them from warping.
Includes set of 3 rackets: Slazengers and Spalding, third one is not marked.
Each racket weighs approx. 12 oz to 14 oz. Press itself weighs approx. 6 lb. Total weight is 8 pounds 8 oz. The press can hold up to three rackets with its two wooden dividers and is complete with brass fittings and three bolts with cast brass wing nuts. The exterior of the mahogany press has a polished finish. See less
