The transferware scenes on this set seem to … Read more Georgeous vintage Ironstone washstand set by Victoria Ironstone in flow blue pattern. The transferware scenes on this set seem to depict everyday life, houses, and buildings in the European Victorian era. The background color isn't white; it's more of a very pale seafoam. Basin measures 9" in diameter and stands about 2 7/8" tall. Pitcher measures about 6 1/2" tall. When the pitcher is sitting in the basin, the set stands about 7" tall.

It's very rare to find a set like this still together, and also in such fabulous condition - no chips, cracks, or unusual wear on either piece. An absolutely lovely set. See less
