Newly upholstered in Italian boucle on sale for a limited time only! Introducing the stunning Italian vintage and newly upholstered two cushions sofa 'Sapporo', designed by the renowned Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in the 1970s. This listing refers to the sofa settee only having the other elements from the pictures sold already. But you can make the best out of this settee thanks to its compact size: use it in smaller spaces or nooks, in second bedrooms or studios, in a transition room, or a small office room.

Mario Marenco is an Italian architect born in Italy in 1933. He was also a designer and an Italian entertainer working in television. He graduated in architecture in 1957 and later opened his design studio, DEGW located in Rome, starting designing community buildings. He collaborated with some of the biggest Italian furniture and lighting companies such as Artemide, Arflex, Bernini and B&B Italia, Mobil Girgi, and Poltrona Frau. His collaboration spanned from furniture to the car industry, designing display stands for Fiat and Alfa Romeo
