Sticks are 9 1/2" tall and the bases are roughly … Read more Nice pair of antique 19th century beehive candlesticks with ejectors. Sticks are 9 1/2" tall and the bases are roughly 3 1/2" square. If you look at the third photo you can see on the base on the right a small solder repair. Sometimes when these come out of the mold occasionally there would be a small defect in the casting. I think this is probably what this is and some one filled it with some solder. It is not a structural repair of any kind just a cosmetic. It is very small and if I didnt mention it you would possibly never notice it. These are from a collection of antique candlesticks we recently acquired. See less
