A very interesting and rare antique barber bottle
An early American pressed glass item in an unusual octagonal shape with Chinoiserie design
White custard / milk glass with different raised decorative scenes on each panel - a Chinese woman with umbrella, kids, lanterns, typical oriental plants and auspicious items, some panels painted in powder blue with gilt highlights around the edges
It is possibly a barber's or a perfume bottle, but could've been intended as a small decanter as well.
