Part of the Herman Miller Collection, early 1950s a BSC headboard designed by George Nelson. The storage headboard with padded backs slides down to reveal a shelf and slants to become a headrest and slides further showing below room for blankets and extra pillows. Beautiful wood grain, ebonized legs and freshly upholstered headrests in an Alexander Girard "double triangle" textile. A full size but could be used with a queen size bed.
Only used for staging, in excellent vintage condition.
