Condition: excellent. “Flea bites” are naturally occurring holes that happen in Cloisonné enamel. They should not be considered imperfections, but rather a tool to assist in aging the product. These flea bites seem consistent in a piece maybe 40 years old.

There are three steps involved in my research for pricing, and you can do this too.

1. Use an app called Google Lens to take a photo of any item. It will bring up similar items and how much they sell/sold for. This is also helpful in figuring out what to call or how to describe the item.

2. Do a Google search for the name of the item.

3. Do a search for the item by name on Chairish and another similar site.

Since I am being fair with my pricing, I want you to know how to do this. It will only help me by validating my pricing choices, and hopefully it will help you to recognize items that are overpriced.
