The white painted finish creates the captivating allure in this attractive large baroque chest of four drawers with brass pulls.
Later professionally applied, the layers of white (with shades gray and brown undertones) paint compliment the age, style and graceful lines of this chest that dates back to the late 1700's. The layered finish has been distressed, creating aged character while revealing the natural pine wood below.
The top two drawer case rests on the lower two drawer case, all sitting on a base frame support with cabriolet feet.
This strong and stable chest has been restored. All wear, scratches, age related cracks or separation (including drawer bottoms) is commensurate with age.
Please enlarge photos to appreciate the exceptional finish and large brass side handles.
