My name is Michael Bernard Jones and I am a self-taught artist who discovered a passion for painting, sketching, and collage in September of 2023. At 61 years old, I had never tried any form of artistic expression before then. But once I picked up a paintbrush and created my first watercolor painting I knew something transformative was happening to me. Since then, I have been exploring new styles and techniques each day. This new passion and creativity gives me so much joy. I share my work with my friends and acquaintances on social media and in person, regardless of how it turns out. I embrace vulnerability and authenticity in my art, giving you a glimpse into my heart and soul. I feel incredibly fortunate and humbled to have uncovered this hidden part of myself.
