SRW opened its doors in 1981, working on small residential and light commercial projects. Through hard work, determination and a love of our craft, our work has grown to include a portfolio of houses, equestrian centers, golf clubhouses, schools, and museums.

We work passionately to create buildings that are beautifully built, practical, and inspiring to all that uses them. Our work consists of identifiable architectural qualities such as proportions, scale, color, and light.

Special care is taken to insure that our projects use energy efficiently, and utilize products and processes which are environmentally responsible. It is our hope that buildings we create will stand for generations and weather the stylistic trends which come and go over time. The timelessness of a building’s spirit is as important to us as the durability of its form.

SRW has been the recipient of the prestigious Architectural Digest AD100 Award, given to the top 100 Architects and Designers in the world. The firm has won this award a record eight times.
