I'm Roman from Long Beach, California - a native of this Los Angeles area who took a two-year sidetrack to New York. My lifetime of creativity, which includes a healthy dose of home obsessing, is heavily influenced by the places I've lived and visited, and the people and experiences within them.
For me, home should be an authentic, symbolic expression of who you are - telling your story as family and friends walk through any room, with thoughtful elements & choices that collectively bring a sense of welcome to anyone you share it with.
The feedback we often hear from guests in our own home, is that it's highly stylish, yet warmly inviting and tangible - rather than the sense of the untouchable that designed environments can sometimes evoke. People feel comfort here, and knowing that makes us very happy!
And what that means for my Chairish shop? Well all of what you'll find here is something we personally owned - either heirloom through family or things we've curated for us. Our design tastes range from transitional to coastal, layered with some culturally-influenced accents. Many of our pieces are RH (or RH-influenced), from collections that reflect more natural and elemental aesthetics and color palettes.
We take great care of everything we own, and we're guilty of evolving it every so often. That means great pieces with a lot of life still in them, that need a new home like yours to bring good energy to!
