Michael Merrill Design Studio specializes in the renovation and design of residences throughout the United States and abroad.

Originally from Texas, Michael Merrill relocated to the West Coast in 1987, where he established and continues to maintain an important and respected place in the design community.

Notable projects have ranged from a penthouse in Manhattan, a River Oaks estate, two years in the San Francisco Decorator Showcase, the design of 400 luxury resort homes in South Korea, the comprehensive remodel of a classic Eichler residence, the careful restoration and modern furnishing of an historic Maybeck home, and the Grand Penthouse at the Four Seasons. Most recently, Mr. Merrill created a memorable dining room for the Millennium "Icons of Design" Showcase.
