My "shop" is essentially my studio practice, reflecting the work I'm undertaking in any given medium at any given time. Although I received a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), I am committed to exploring other mediums and forging a multidisciplinary practice. A preoccupation with color, surface, tactility, and graphic quality underpins these pursuits. I have found that each discipline informs the other in unexpected ways, leading to new lines of discovery and unique visual solutions.

For over a decade, I have created wheel-thrown ceramics out of my Somerville-based studio in Massachusetts. Primarily, I work in dark stoneware, preferring the warmer tones and darker palette of the clay body. Surface pattern and texture are a central focus; the eye and the hand are equally considered. This work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including Strictly Functional and State of Clay juried exhibitions.
