Lisa Haas is a professional painter who has been creating and selling work since the mid-1990s. Her artwork is held in private collections throughout the United States and internationally. Working across a wide range of subjects and styles, she continually explores new techniques and creative approaches.
Professional-grade oil and acrylic paints are used, primarily Williamsburg and Old Holland handmade oils.
An early foundation began with pencil and charcoal portrait drawing in her early 30s. In recent years, the work has expanded to include several large pop-art–style portraits. In 2016, she discovered plein air painting in Carmel-by-the-Sea and has since maintained a balance between outdoor and studio practice.
Art has been a lifelong influence. Lisa grew up watching her mother paint in oils and later inherited her brushes and paints. Coming from a family of artists—including Auntie Yvonne, a professional painter—art is deeply rooted in her background.
After representation by galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lisa relocated to Nevada and now focuses on selling directly to collectors and interior designers, creating a more personal and direct experience.
