Lemon Hill Antiques was born out a true love and admiration for antiques. As a boy I would visit my Grandparents who lived in a Heart pine constructed 2 story, full basement and stand-up attic 4 square home. The large wrap around porch was the favorite place for checkers, lemonade and homemade cookies. The barn out back was my grandfather's workshop where I learned about old tools and antiques. I would help My grandparents with everything from lawn chores to dusting. It was the dusting that really allowed me close examination of craftsmanship that is long gone today. Unfortunately, so are my grandparents, their farm and the Mr. Softee Ice cream shop next door. What isn't gone is a vast and deep love off of all types of antiques. I realize now Lemon Hill Antiques is a testament to the good people my grandparents where and every antique tells a story. Every time I see one I am reminded of all of this.
