A genuine bookbinding laboratory based in Florence, Tuscany, Legatoria la Carta was created in 2007 by Arielle Benozio, a French woman living in Italy.
The idea was to enhance the production of Florentine notebooks by modernizing colors and mixing them with other high quality materials, while remaining a "Made in Italy" binding workshop where everything is handmade. The result is a wide range of original notebooks, sketchbooks, guestbooks, photo albums and stationery objects made with our own handmade marbled paper (produced in our laboratory), or with beautiful Japanese papers and fabrics.
