“To me, photography is an art of observation; it’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

Katerina Christina is a Greek-American fine-art photographer based in New York City. Her work bridges documentary, street, and studio photography, capturing quiet moments within the visual and technological chaos of modern life. Educated as a mechanical engineer at Stanford and later trained in architecture and real estate development at Columbia, she brings an architect’s precision and a designer’s eye to her compositions.

Her long-term documentary project Shattered Glass highlights women who are redefining gendered boundaries in male-dominated fields, pairing portraiture with narrative to explore strength and femininity.

Katerina’s photographs have appeared in British Vogue, Eyeshot Magazine, EYE Photo Magazine, and National Geographic Your Shot, and have been exhibited internationally at Photoville San Francisco, Women Street Photographers, The Other Art Fair Brooklyn, and Hamptons Fine Art Fair.

In addition to photography, she creates minimalist line drawings that mirror her visual style—pared-down, architectural, and emotionally resonant.

Katerina is also the Founder of Kos Partners, a wellness-focused real-estate development company integrating architecture, design, and analog sensory experience into built environments.
