Jeff Schlarb Design Studio is an award-winning interior design firm founded by Jeff Schlarb, a leader in the Bay Area design scene for over 20 years. The studio, with offices in San Francisco and New York, specializes in luxury residential and commercial projects worldwide.

A recent 10 page cover story in CA Home + Design describes Jeff as a “Modern Day Maximalist,” highlighting his exuberant style including daring uses of color, pattern, texture and art. He combines all of these elements to create a layered look that is at once complex and balanced, classic and contemporary. Every room becomes an exploration.

Jeff embodies the art-meets-design aesthetic, and his work consistently results in expressive and inspired interiors. We call it “curiosity without the chaos.” Our studio, which includes a talented team of 12, creates spaces that are bold and memorable and reflect the interests and lifestyles of our clients. Our goal is to design spaces that inspire the soul but also set the scene for living well.

On a personal note, Jeff is a doting father of two young girls, a music maker, a lover of fine craftsmanship, a philanthropist and a fierce advocate for the arts. He is on the board of Lines Ballet, and a member of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) as well as the Design Leadership Network (DLN).
