I love metal work.... its timeless and solid, yet apply copious amounts of heat and it becomes malleable, taking on a soft quality that is normally unexpected with metal. Its movements of bending, curling, and stretching, becoming something more than it was. Add the right amounts of heat and right conditions and it takes on a colored patina that captivates me, appearing a black, or brown, bronze, and copper, it can even take on subtle floral hues. Because of all these variables every piece becomes a one of one.
