    About

    Shop Banner

Doreen arrived in Manhattan from London to pursue a career at Estée Lauder and later Donna Karan Cosmetics & Home. It was there that she first fell in love with the process of creating, developing and accessorizing interiors.

Those skills were later put to work when Doreen became assistant to the internationally renowned architect, Peter Marino. On project after project, she saw how structures came together and how spaces within them came to life. After going on to study at the New York School of Interior Design, Doreen founded her design studio in 2001.

Passionate about beauty, luxury and style, Doreen draws on inspiration found in nature, fine art, theater, fashion, food and travel. She designs environments with a serene ambiance for her clients, where they can unwind, relax and recharge. Whether projects are large or small; the aesthetic contemporary, transitional or traditional, the timeless sophisticated homes Doreen creates are relaxed and welcoming.

Every client/designer relationship is a unique and collaborative process. Listening closely to her clients, Doreen learns about their lifestyles - how they entertain and spend their leisure time, to ascertain the decor aesthetic and level of comfort that best reflects them. Guided by their needs and tastes, Doreen and her team translate the client's desires into a livable reality. They are intimately involved with and oversee all aspects of the project. Attention is paid to every detail, ensuring that clients have trust during and satisfaction after completion.

Doreen has successfully completed numerous high-end residential projects in Manhattan, Brooklyn, New Jersey, Houston, South Florida and London. Named one of America's Next Wave designers by House Beautiful Magazine, Doreen has also been featured on LXTV's Open House and LXTV's George to the Rescue; Doreen was a participating designer in the Brooklyn Heights interior Designer Showhouse, Bilotta's Art of the Table and Design on a Dime Miami. She is a board member of The Decorators Club Education Fund, in New York.
